This is a simple but efficient version of an LDAP Directory.
It has no dependencies besides the ldap module.

In this directory the id is always the dn.

A directory that connects to an LDAP server.

This directory has two special fields, 'dn' and 'base_dn'.

    - 'dn' is read-only and is always used as the id.
The dn is always in canonical LDAP UTF-8 form, modified so that
non-ASCII chars are encoded normally (non LDAP-escaped), but
special ASCII chars are LDAP escaped (ex '\\3D' for '=').

    - 'base_dn' is read-only.

Hierarchical support requires to set is_hierarchical to True and to provide
a children_attr that holds the list of children for the current entry. The
list of children can be a list of 'cn' instead of 'dn', this can be set
